The Senior Sidewalk offers graduates an opportunity to commemorate their legacy at K-State. Each stone in the Senior Sidewalk is 4 inches by 8 inches of high-quality granite. The graduate’s name is engraved across the center of the stone and the initials of the graduate’s college are in the upper right corner.
The Senior Sidewalk begins at the Alumni Center (Denison and Anderson Avenue) and runs along the old Memorial Stadium sidewalk to Ahearn Fieldhouse.
$150. A $25 portion of the proce is designated as a contribution to the graduate’s college or the Office of Student Life — you decide where you want your contribution to go.
You can purchase a stone online, or you can fill out the Senior Sidewalk brochure/order form and return it to the KSU Foundation. You can also call 785-532-7584 to place your order over the phone. You may order a stone for yourself, as a gift for a graduate, or you may order one for someone else to say thank you to a special friend or to remember a loved one.
Once you have purchased a Senior Sidewalk stone, you will receive a letter and certificate for the graduate. You will also receive a tax receipt in a separate mailing.

Prices have increased to cover the expenses of the stone including engraving, installation and maintenance. Of the price, $25 is designated as a contribution to the graduate’s college or the Office of Student Life.
Every attempt is made so that you will receive your certificate before graduation. However, orders must be received at least two weeks before graduation to ensure that certificates will arrive by graduation.
The Senior Sidewalk program began in 2000, therefore only those who have graduated since the year 2000 can be included in the Senior Sidewalk at this time.
