Support for scholarships

A robust pool of privately-funded scholarships is essential to K-State’s ability to be competitive in attracting the bright, high-achieving students who help to set the bar for academic success. And, just as important, scholarships help to ensure that higher education remains accessible to all qualified citizens, an important tenet of our land-grant tradition. As K-State looks toward its Vision 2025 strategic goal to become a top 50 research institution by 2025, scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students are a key priority.

Donor-supported scholarships have made a huge impact on the lives of countless K-State students, past and present. The criteria for awarding these scholarships, as well as the award amount, are determined by the donor. In addition to this tradition of donor-designated scholarships, K-State has introduced four levels of renewable premier scholarships with university-determined criteria and award amounts.
