K-State Proud Award Application:

Self Nominated Student

Description: Awards made to students who have a demonstrated financial need or temporary financial assistance and who have exhausted all other forms of financial assistance. Special emphasis will be given to students whose future at K-State may be in jeopardy.

Eligibility: The recipient of this award should be a student enrolled in any curriculum at Kansas State University with a demonstrated need. This student may be enrolled through Division of Continuing Education. A student may be considered more than once for this award.

Process: Students should fill out a K-State Proud Award application and a statement of need. Students must also give permission for the committee to contact a 3rd party supporter which could be faculty, staff, administration, or peer.

Applications can be submitted online on a continuing basis. The K-State Proud allocations committee will meet monthly to review the most recent applications and make funding recommendations.
